The Convention of States/ConCon is another urgent and real threat
to our Constitution and way of life. If we do not educate ourselves and take action now, we could lose it all. Unfortunately, the enemies within are hard at work and they especially like to be stealthy in their efforts. This is a threat that can easily be disguised as a solution to our problems, but is actually poison. |
It takes time and effort to study and expose the truth about
things like Article V and VI and the COS/ConCon...and they know most people, even our legislators, will not do it on their own. "Read the bill!" could not be more appropriate to describe what we are faced with on these two critical issues. Are you the lazy, dumb sheeple they think you are? For more than 40 years the John Birch Society has been at the leading edge of a critical battle.
This critical battle is one of the most pressing assaults on our Constitution. It is a movement to use state legislatures to call an Article V Constitutional Convention. This movement is an example of the far left using tactics similar to ju jitsu, wherein you use the weight and strength of the enemy against themselves. A current example of this is a group named Convention of the States, run by a snake oil salesman named Mark Meckler. Convention of States dishonestly showcased a video to make it sound as if the late Justice Antonin Scalia fully supported the COS viewpoint, while we know from a 2014 interview that he has stated: "I certainly would not want a Constitutional Convention. I mean whoa. Who knows what would come out of that?" With COS and their friends constantly deceiving Americans, it becomes more apparent that the best way to rein in our out-of-control government is through Article VI, not V.

Mark Levin Challenges Caller on
Caller mentions Kissinger talking about the New World Order while at the New York Stock Exchange on January 5, 2009. Levin sounds like he doesn't believe it. We (the youTube publisher?...not SMF.com) splice in the actual video and quote of Henry Kissinger. Dr. Mark Levin then goes into KOOK attack mode. (KOOK - Rush's favorite phrase for certain people belief's)
The problem is that the caller is pretty accurate about the organizations mentioned and Levin tries to use that to delegitimize him. It is highly unlikely Levin is unaware of the accuracy of caller's statements. This brings Levin's credibility and motivations into serious question. Still not convinced? People must do their own research and decide for themselves who and what can be trusted. Some sources cited in this video may not be reliable (wiki?), but we know of other sources that have withstood rigorous vetting. Caution: it may be painful and demoralizing when you discover those you trusted may have deliberately deceived and manipulated you ...possibly to achieve goals for which you are diametrically opposed. This discovery process can be difficult and may take time to accept, but learning the truth is vital and worth it. Also, the "tribe" you associate with may not be receptive to hearing the truth. You might even be singled out for criticism and ostracism. However, as you continue your research and study, you will gain confidence and these attacks will be less intimidating. You may even find it motivating because you have truth on your side...and you don't like being deceived.
