1/26/2020 Re: PLEASE Do not Sign the USMCA Bill President Trump, Please do not sign the USMCA Implementation Act (H.R. 5430) into law. Despite what you’ve said about how this agreement will end or replace NAFTA, Canada’s Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland recently told audiences in Mexico that the USMCA preserves the old NAFTA and builds on top it, describing it as a “progressive trade agreement.” The USMCA undermines state right-to-work laws by recognizing the so-called right to “collective bargaining,” mandates federal protections for “gender-identity” and other “gender-related issues” in the workplace; provides for additional protections for “migrant workers,” promotes the United Nations’ globalist scheme for “sustainable development” throughout the environment chapter, and it subordinates the U.S. to international global governance organizations and conventions, such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), International Labor Organizations (ILO), and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), which the U.S. Senate has never ratified. Worst of all Mr. President, the USMCA establishes an international bureaucracy called the “Free Trade Commission” that is most similar to the “TPP Commission” of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Like the TPP Commission, the USMCA’s Free Trade Commission would be made up of unelected bureaucrats from all three governments, whom will not only oversee the implementation of the trade scheme, but will also oversee a vast bureaucracy of 19 international committees each governing different sections of the agreement, and have to power to create more committees, and amend the agreement thereby making it into a “living agreement.” The purpose behind the USMCA is not to make the United States, individually, more competitive with other countries around the world, but to merge the U.S. economy with that of Mexico and Canada, and to form a new North American bloc similar to the European Union -- a kind of North American Union. This is evident in the USMCA’s competitiveness chapter (Chapter 26) and in remarks delivered by former Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, who boasted in Spanish, at Buenos Aires, how the USMCA would consolidate the “economic integration” of North America. The USMCA is everything globalists want to advance their agenda for global government by way of regionalism under the pretense of “free trade.” Please do not sign it. https://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/north-america/item/33596-what-s-really-in-the-usmca https://www.jbs.org/usmca/ http://www.seemorefacts.com/ http://www.seemorefacts.com/usmca-nafta-nau.html
